Bonjour,

Alors voilà, j'ai un vieux PC sur lequel j'ai installé Debian et j'aimerais pouvoir l'allumer à distance.
Donc je me suis renseigné et j'ai vu qu'il fallait le Wake On Lan, et j'essaye donc de le faire fonctionner déjà en local.
J'ai lu plusieurs tutoriels et articles là dessus ou il y avait plusieurs astuces / méthodes mais en vain, je n'arrive toujours pas à allumer mon ordinateur à distance depuis un autre ordinateur du réseau local.

Le problème, c'est que je ne sais pas exactement dans quelles proportions mon matériel est compatible car :
sous debian, avec la commande ethtool, j'ai bien le "Supports Wake-on" pour chacun des ports ethernet mais sous windows, je n'ai pas d'option pour le WakeOnLan dans les options avancées
donc, comment savoir si les cartes que j'ai sont vraiment compatibles ou pas ?
J'ai essayé avec 3 cartes réseaux et j'ai un port intégré à la carte mère...


Concernant ma carte mère, dans le bios, il y a bien une option WakeOnLan mais est-ce que ce n'est que pour le port intégré à la carte mère ou aussi pour les cartes réseaux connectés en PCI ? Comment le savoir ?
Le port ethernet intégré semble HS... donc je n'ai pas pu tester le WakeOnLan dessus, il ne réagit plus du tout (les diodes ne s'allument pas) lors d'un branchement de cable (sous debian et windows) alors qu'il est détecté dans les périphériques.

Bref, je désespère un peu mais bon si quelqu'un s'y connait bien et a un tout petit peu de temps, je vous remercie d'avance...

Si au moins je savais que ma carte mère est bien compatible mais que c'est juste les cartes réseaux qui ne le sont pas, je pourrais acheter une autre carte réseau compatible, peut etre avec cable WOL ?, bref, je ne sais pas trop, c'est pour ca je cherche à fixer les choses parce que la je ne sais plus trop ou j'en suis et ce qu'il en est vraiment de mon matériel
Si quelqu'un peut m'aider pour regarder avec moi le matériel et en tirez des conclusions...

Est-ce qu'il faut une option "réveil par périphérique PCI" ? est-ce que le wakeonlan n'est que pour le port intégré ? comment savoir ?
comment voir s'il y a un emplacement pour brancher une carte avec un fil WOL ? a quoi ca ressemble ?

mais sous Debian, lorsqu'on fait la commande "ethtool", on a bien : "Supports Wake-on : pumbags"
